Hub B30, beyond circularity

The Territorial Specialization and Competitiveness Project (PECT) HubB30, Beyond circularity is a pilot experience focused on Zero Waste that should allow designing the methodology, the optimal structure and the spaces to implement a new model of interaction between the different actors of the Quadruple Helix (university and research centers, administrations, companies and citizens) and open innovation processes.

The overall strategy of the project is mainly based on the Responsible Research and Innovation approach for the definition of development policies and its strategic action framework, moving towards a resilient and sustainable R&I ecosystem model. It is an initiative of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, UAB Research Park, Eurecat, Esade, Cerdanyola del Vallès City Council and Mollet del Vallès City Council.

HubB30, Beyond circularity will articulate a network of laboratories in the territory that will constitute the matrix from which the transformation towards a sustainable ecosystem of research and innovation begins. Participatory and co-creation processes for the identification of challenges will be coordinated in the labs.
