Who are we

History

In April 2018, the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the UAB Research Park, the Eurecat technology center and the Àmbit B30 association launched the Hub b30 project to make technological capabilities and scientific knowledge available to society. from the sphere of the UAB, Eurecat and its environment to solve the innovation needs and challenges of companies and institutions, improving their competitiveness. Since then, 14 other institutions have been added: the Alba synchrotron, Esade, the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Cecot, Cerdanyola Empresarial, PIMEC, the Sabadell Chamber of Commerce, the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce, the Research Institute and Agri-Food Technologies (IRTA), the ACCIÓ agency of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the regional councils of Vallès Oriental and Vallès Occidental.

Mission and vision

Hub b30 works to provide solutions to social, economic and environmental challenges of the territory, with a focus on shared agendas. We promote, collaboratively with territorial agents, the development of viable alternatives that transform dominant practices to move towards a more resilient, digital, green, fair development model that prioritizes people and nature.
