Expert workshop on entrepreneurship, clusters and networks in the world of sport. Organized by Sabadell City Council, in collaboration with the PRUAB, the IRE, the CORE of UAB Cities and the Hub b30.
In the first Innovation Morning SDB Esport Hub, three areas of analysis were addressed: 1) the map of city assets related to sport, 2) the vision of the SBD Esport Hub and 3) the main challenges of the opportunity to drive the new hub for the benefit of the city. Taking it as a starting point, the second session will focus on the technical challenges of the SBD Sport Hub.
The first part of the session will focus on the possible functions of a hub, to understand the conditions and requirements that each entails:
- Research, transfer and innovation
- Entrepreneur training and business creation
- Business incubation space, with value-added services
- Startup financing
- Mentoring and support for startup scalability
- Demonstration and testing lab
- Internationalization of initiatives
- Technological surveillance
- Communication and networking
After brief presentations by renowned experts on these matters, the session will deal with the challenges of the SBD Sport Hub, with issues related to beneficiaries and value propositions of the hubs, funding and governance, talent and networking.
